EAT: Happy 1st Anniversary Tokyo Secret Malaysia!
July 05, 2017Something cheeeeesyyyyyy is happening in town right now!
June 2017 marked the first anniversary of Tokyo Secret Malaysia, in conjunction to that, they rolled out lots of promotional campaign to celebrate their first birthday.
On 17th June itself, Tokyo Secret Malaysia run a Buy 1 Free 1 on all beverage, it went even crazier at 1pm - 4pm as all drinks are selling at RM1 only!
Beverage
Cheese Crema series: Black Tea, Osmanthus Oolong, Green Tea and Japanese MatchaCheese on top of your drinks, can you imagine?
The thick and smooth cheese cover the ice cold tea series, the saltiness of the cheese on top somehow balances up the sweetness of the drink, leaves me wanting more.
So I was looking for straw to enjoy my Osmanthus Oolong Cheese Crema, I was told that we were supposed to drink from the cup itself so we can sip on the cheese, like how I did.
It was really good and I had 2 cup of this all by myself.
Look at 'em cheese cream!! Fattening but irresistible.
Fresh Fruit Tea: Pineapple Green Tea and Orange Oolong Tea
Original Tea: Osmanthus Oolong, Black Tea and Green Tea
Original Tea: Osmanthus Oolong, Black Tea and Green Tea
All beverage are reasonably priced at RM5.50 - RM11.00 only.
Dessert
Tokyo Secret Malaysia Best Seller - Hanjuku Cheese Tart (comes in 4 delectable flavors - Original, Matcha, Hazelnut and Purple Potato) and Hanjuku Cheese CakeI find it so unique that they even listed out up to 4 ways for customer to enjoy their cheese tart, and every different ways can bring out different taste and texture to the cheese tart. How interesting!
And best of all, they recently added Cheese Cake into their menu.
Priced at RM49.00, I think it is reasonable because you can taste real cheese in every bite, and the cheese is at the perfect balance of dense, creamy and light.
I also like their base which is biscuit crumble, slightly harder than the usual, which I like.
