Anyone can create the link as long as you know this person’s phone number, you can create a link that will allow you to start a chat with them. By clicking the link, a chat with the number automatically opens, this feature works on both phone and WhatsApp Web.
How to Create Click to Chat Link?
To create the link, use https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone= followed by the person's full phone number in international format. Omit any zeroes, brackets or dashes when adding the phone number in international format.
Example:
Country Name: Malaysia
Country Code: 60
Example Phone Number: +60123456789
Use: https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=60123456789
Don't use: https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=+60123456789
Click to Chat with Default Message
To create your own link with a pre-filled message that will automatically appear in the text field of a chat, use https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=whatsappphonenumber&text=urlencodedtext where whatsappphonenumber is a full phone number in international format and urlencodedtext is the URL-encoded pre-filled message.
Example:
You would like people to ask about your service rate, says "I wish to ask about the rate".
The link should look like this:
https://api.whatsapp.com/send?phone=60123456789&text=I%20wish%20to%20ask%20about%20the%20rate

Don't worry, the URL encoded text is not some rocket science, you can easily encode your preferred text from this website.

Well the link looks quite spammy, you don't want to scare your prospect away.
There is a few URL Shortener available like bit.ly, but my favorite has to be Google URL Shortener, everyone who has a Google account can use this.
Not only you can forward this via Whatsapp chat, the link can be shared across all major social media, it makes people so much easier to get in touch with you!
